Lifestyle sessions are some of my absolute favorite things to capture as a photographer. A family lifestyle session is special because it showcases the raw and true reality of what it is to be a family. A family with small children in the home, at that! The messes that need cleaning (eventually), the endless energy, the playing, the laughing, and the loving. Parenthood is messy. Life is messy! This San Diego family lifestyle showcased all the beauty in those truths.  

This family had such a wonderful time during their lifestyle session. They danced, they ate, they played, and they jumped on their backyard trampoline until they were all tuckered out from laughing so hard. For most of the photoshoot, it was just mama and her two sweet girls. Dad came home just at the end of the session, and we were able to sneak in a couple of sweet shots with him, so make sure to scroll to the bottom and check those out!

To have these images to look back on is so incredibly special, and I highly recommend that all families have their photos taken so that they each have their own special moments frozen in time. I especially vouch for in-home lifestyle sessions. As much as I love a beautiful beach or park photoshoot location, there is something really special about capturing a family in their natural habitat where they are most comfortable.

I am always so, so honored, and it feels really special when families invite me into their homes with open arms to capture these special and intimate moments with one another. Thank you so much to this beautiful family for letting me witness their love!
