What better place to have a family photo session with a mama and her sons than a bowling alley? Mariah and her sweet boys are long-time friends of mine. We’ve known each other for years, and we even adventured to the UK together last year (before Covid hit, of course.) You can check out those adventure photos here.
At the bowling alley, we found an awesome blue brick wall that you can actually see we used as a backdrop in most of the photos. The family hugged, climbed, and giggled their way through the photoshoot. It was the sweetest thing, and it made the pictures come out so wonderfully! Of course, we got in some necessary mama smooches too!
My favorite part of this entire session was the fact that they all had matching Vans on. Is that not the cutest thing ever, or what? The earth and jewel tones they all wore tied everything together, and they looked so good in front of that blue wall!
One of my favorite things to shoot is family sessions, because time flies by so quickly, especially with children. Before you know it, they aren’t children anymore. Capturing moments like these is a way to freeze that precious time. Mariah and her children will be able to look back on these photos forever, and that is priceless.
Check out how much her boys have grown and changed by taking a look at the family photos we took a few years ago here.
