If you’ve been following my work for a while, you might recognize these two! Sam and Connor actually got married in Sam’s parent’s backyard back in 2020 when Covid restrictions were still at their strictest. You can find those photos here! They still wanted the big celebration they’d always dreamed of, though, so the pair had their big celebration this September.

The two decided on Mt. Woodson Castle in Ramona, California for their big September wedding. This wedding venue is seriously perfect for couples looking for that rustic-chic, fairytale vibe. So many picturesque outdoor spots and a gorrrrgeous interior. I fell in love with this castle wedding venue right away! It perfectly complimented the couple’s soft blue and white color palette and their minimalistic wedding details.

Sam, the bride, looked so beautiful in her simple, a-line, v-neck wedding dress and mid-length veil. And Connor looked amazing in his gray groom’s suit. I loved that Connor’s tie “tied” in with the other soft blue details of the wedding. See what I did there? 

The outdoor ceremony was so precious to watch, and the backdrop of trees and gloomy weather made it a seriously beautiful view. The reception was a ton of fun, and also super beautiful! With the pretty, simple reception details, the floral forward design, and the rustic castle venue in the background… perfection! The couple even decided to have an entire section of the reception dedicated to games for their guests to play, which I thought was an awesome little idea! 

All in all, this wedding day went so smoothly, every detail was perfect, and the couple and their guests all had the best time. Thank you, Sam and Connor, for letting me capture this day!
