This gorgeous outdoor Mt. Laguna engagement session was such a joy to capture! Emmy and Will decided on this location, and I could not have been more thrilled. Mt. Laguna (located in San Diego, California) is seriously gorgeous. There’s a lake, beautiful dried grass, tall trees, and rolling hills in the backdrop. And when that golden hour light hits… pure magic!! That is one of the main reasons I love outdoor engagement and couple’s session locations so much. That golden sunset light never disappoints.

The pair had two changes of outfits, which is something I always suggest couples consider doing during an engagement photoshoot. It’s a good idea because you can have some more formal, dressy engagement photos, and then you can have some fun and casual ones as well. It’s almost like knocking out two vibes with one session, and your engagement pictures will have more variety to them! Emmy wore a long black dress for the more formal vibes, and the cutest little lace mini dress for her next look. Will wore a white button-down and black slacks for one fit (plus the coolest checkered Vans), and a black button-down and khakis for the second. They looked amazing, as you can see!!

This was such a gorgeous day full of laughter and adventure. We had to end it with a pop of champagne, of course. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for these two, and I’m looking forward to maybe hearing about their wedding plans in the future!
