Nothing screams fall quite like a forest engagement session! Ariel and Anna have been together for eight years, and they decided to celebrate their anniversary by having their engagement photos taken the day of. These two were so incredibly sweet and tender with each other, and I loved capturing these engagement pictures for them.

We decided to trek to the Agua Dulce Trailhead in Mount Laguna, California for this forest engagement session. Mount Laguna is always such a pretty location, but especially so during fall. The soft pastel-colored skies, the trees that are slowly turning orange and brown, the dried grass that covers the hillside… it’s also so beautiful and romantic! Perfect for a sweet little engagement photoshoot.

The pair decided on a casual picnic-inspired session. They strolled around, laughed, kissed, and danced. They drank champagne while cuddling on a blanket, with the golden hour sunset light peaking through the trees. It was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to see what else is in store for Anna and Ariel, and I so look forward to seeing what they plan on doing for their wedding day!
