Maternity photos are some of my favorites to capture, and this Mission Trails maternity session was no different. This location is perfect near the end of summer when the tall grass is nice and golden and so is the light. It all creates the perfect dreamy, neutral backdrop for maternity photos (family, couples, and engagement photos too!) 

Emma held a bouquet of white tulips throughout the session, and her baby bump was bumpin’. It was perfect. 

I also love the outfits she chose for the shoot. She wore jeans and a white button-down shirt at first, and then she switched into a slouchy and comfy neutral set. Both looks showed off her belly, of course! My favorite part was that she decided to go barefoot for the whole session.

Emma is actually a dear friend of mine who also happens to be an extremely talented photographer. It’s always such an honor when a fellow photographer chooses you to capture such an important moment in their lives. You can check out her website & her stunning work here!
