This was the sweetest little Mission Trails maternity session! At the time that you’re reading this, Nikki is already holding the little babe in her arms, but it doesn’t hurt to look back at the beauty of this pregnancy photoshoot. Scroll to about halfway past the dreamy in-home newborn photos to see the maternity pictures!

Nikki and Glenn were joined by their first son for this gorgeous outdoor maternity/family session. Mission Trails in San Diego is such a perfect Southern California photoshoot location for any type of session. It has rolling hills covered in lush greenery, tall trees, well-loved trails, dreamy dried grass, and the best golden hour light if you go at the right time! Plus, it’s generally pretty easy to find spots where there aren’t any other people around. One of the best mountain photoshoot locations San Diego has to offer, for sure.

This is the sweetest family ever, and they made this session so much fun. They explored, played, and laughed together as I captured them doing what they do best: having a blast and loving up on each other. Of course, I had to get some solo maternity photos of mama, as well as some precious couple’s photos, and photos all of 3 (and a half) of them as well!

I want to thank this wonderful family, but mama especially, for letting me capture such a wonderful moment in all of their lives!
