Molly and Travess’s intimate elopement at the gorgeous Balboa Park in San Diego, California was a sweet little celebration of love that solidified the blending of their two beautiful families.
Bride Molly chose Balboa Park as the couple’s wedding location because of all the stunning Spanish architecture that characterizes the venue. A lot of the bride and groom portraits we took highlighted all the charming spots throughout the place. Their intimate ceremony was held outdoors, under one of the venue’s archways. So, the ceremony was simple and sweet, with just a couple of simple floral arrangements representing their ceremony spot.Â
As beautiful as this venue was, nothing could top Molly’s stunning bridal look. She wore a strapless mermaid-style wedding dress and a short veil. Short and mid-length veils are all the trend right now! Her simple details and moody red and white bouquet allowed the real stars (her dress and stunning face of course) to shine. Travess looked amazing too in his classic black groom tuxedo.Â
After the wedding ceremony, a quick toast, and some golden hour bride and groom portraits, it was reception time. The pair and their guests headed over to a small wedding reception dinner. That was being held nearby at the Lafayette Club Hotel.Â
This was a perfectly intimate wedding celebration that highlighted the love between a couple, and honored the blending of their families. Thank you, Molly and Travess, for letting me capture and be a part of such an important moment in yours, as well as your family’s lives.
