There’s something truly magical about an intimate wedding, and The Wedding Bowl in La Jolla is one of the best spots to create that kind of feeling! T and Sam’s wedding was set against a stunning ocean backdrop, and it brought together their closest friends and family for their sweet celebration! I love that The Wedding Bowl’s natural beauty made it such an ideal setting for this couple’s September wedding. It was just perfect for the relaxed, coastal vibe that they had envisioned.

For the ceremony, each guest had a white paper parasol waiting for them on their seat. These were not only super practical for shielding guests from the sun, but they also added a fun touch to the minimal and elegant ceremony decor.

Also, immediately after the ceremony, T and Sam surprised their guests with a vintage ice cream cart—it was such a sweet and thoughtful treat for their loved ones!

Following their time at The Wedding Bowl, T and Sam and their guests headed to Herb & Wood in Little Italy for a cozy reception. The restaurant’s ambiance created the perfect intimate atmosphere, with warm lighting and stylish decor. Long tables were dressed with soft linens in shades of blue, decorated with wildflower arrangements, crystal glassware, and flickering candlelight in tall glass holders. The soft, inviting glow from large paper lanterns above added warmth, creating a relaxed, refined setting for the evening.
