Lacey and Zach’s wedding at The Pearl Hotel was so unique and so unforgettable! I would describe the vibes of their wedding as a blend of romantic details, a FUN party, and a dash of coastal charm. To set the scene: the Pearl Hotel in San Diego is a retro-chic boutique venue perfect for that laid-back yet stylish setting for a wedding. It’s the epitome of timeless style with a fun modern twist.
One of my favorite elements of the day was getting to take some amazing film shots for Lacey and Zach! I’ve put some of my favorites film photos in their blog post. You have to check them out!!
The day started at the historic Thursday Club in Point Loma, where the couple got ready surrounded by their closest friends and family. The intimate ceremony took place in the venue’s beautiful garden, with the Pacific Ocean peeking through in the distance.
After the ceremony, we headed to Sunset Cliffs to take some of their couples photos!! The dramatic cliffs and stunning ocean views created the perfect backdrop and we even got a few shots of them with their jeep that their friends had decorated for the day! Sunset Cliffs is always such a gorgeous spot for capturing all those romantic, windswept moments.
Now, when I tell you the reception at The Pearl Hotel was a total vibe, it was a TOTAL vibe. The details were organic, delicate, and coastally inspired. From name cards attached to seashells to carefully curated florals, the entire space felt like an extension of the coastline.
The reception kicked off with heartfelt speeches and a night filled with dancing by The Pearl’s centrally located pool. But the true highlight came towards the end of the evening when the couple decided to jump into the hotel’s pool! Their guests quickly followed, making it a splashy and unforgettable finish to the night.
