We see a ton of sunset golden hour engagement photos, but how about a sunRISE engagement session? The gorgeous blue light of the California sunrise made this one of my favorite engagement photoshoots ever. Needless to say, the gorgeous couple helped too, of course!

Justine and Justin (I mean come on, they almost have identical names… clearly meant to be) plan on getting married in San Clemente on New Year’s Weekend 2022. Justine is a morning person, hence why we took these engagement photos at sunrise. Justin happily obliged. I am so glad they decided on sunrise photos, because the light was so beautiful and cool toned. You can see how close, comfortable, and in love they are with each other through these photos, and it was truly such a joy to capture. 

The two decided to keep it casual with their engagement shoot outfits. Justine wore a black, long-sleeved, off-the-shoulder shirt and blue jeans. Justin wore a long-sleeved gray t-shirt and black jeans. They coordinated perfectly with each other as well as the beautiful backdrop behind them.

We decided to take this photo session to Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, California. San Diego truly has some of the best photoshoot locations ever, especially if you are looking for a beach location with lots of gorgeous light and some breathtaking cliff views. It ended up being the perfect place for these two to chill, laugh, and have fun during the session.

I am so excited to see this pair get married next year in San Clemente! Thank you, Justine and Justin, for letting me be a part of your time as an engaged couple.)
