Liz and Dan said their “I dos” in an intimate ceremony in a beautiful Catholic Church. Then held their sweet backyard reception in Old Poway Park, a hidden gem in San Diego County, California. I had previously shot their engagement photos on a beach in San Francisco, so I had been looking forward to this wedding day for a while now.
Their traditional church ceremony was perfect. Liz’s father walked her down the aisle and then gave her away as the rest of the couple’s closest friends and family looked on. Liz looked absolutely beautiful in a white, deep v-neck and tulle wedding dress. Dan looked handsome in his classic dark blue suit. All the details, from Liz’s creamy neutral wedding bouquet, to Dan’s boutonniere, to the neutral-toned bridesmaid dresses, tied together perfectly.
The backyard reception was so full of laughter and love and happy tears. The simple, neutral design (including the gorgeous florals by Esther @wallflowerinspirations) was timeless and stunning. Most importantly it allowed Liz and Dan to be the real stars of the show.
I can’t wait to see these two again in October for their vow renewal ceremony at the Rancho Bernardo Inn!
