If you’re looking for some cool, modern but retro bridal photos with roller skate props and giant heart-shaped sunglasses… you’re in luck because you found just that! This retro roller skate bride session we shot in San Diego, California came out soooo good.

I’m so in love with the bridal trend that I’ve been seeing lately, which is being totally unique and wearing whatever it is that you want to wear on your special day. Our stunning bride wore a short a-line wedding dress with puffy sleeves, a super long veil, and black bridal boots. She later switched these out for muted orange wedding heels. She also held the prettiest orange, yellow, and blue wedding bouquet (which is a color palette that is super on-trend right now. I expect to see it a lot this summer!) 

We ended this bridal inspiration session by throwing some cheetah print roller skates on our bride, plus a matching fur coat! I am completely obsessed with how these portraits came out. I hope they can serve as inspiration for the future bride who wants to do things her own way, just a little outside of tradition!
