Chey and Adam got married in November 2017 at the Milagro Winery in Ramona, California. For their fourth anniversary, the two of them decided to celebrate with a sweet little picnic-inspired anniversary photoshoot in the dried grass-covered mountains of San Diego, California. I love outdoor couple sessions of any kind, especially ones located in my hometown. So you can bet that I was super excited about this.

The pair wore the original outfits they got married in, which I thought was a cute choice and a sweet little nod to their 2017 wedding. Adam wore a classic dark blue suit and tie (always a great choice.) Chey wore her gorgeous flowy wedding dress with its lace, long-sleeved bodice and wrap skirt. They seriously make the cutest couple, don’t you think?

We decided to keep the vibes of this session pretty casual. So the pair danced, laughed, and chatted as we strolled around in the San Diego mountains as I took their anniversary photos. We ended the session with some golden hour photos (the San Diego mountains are especially pretty during golden hour!) and a champagne toast while relaxing on a blanket in the grass. 

This was such a fun day. I’m always so honored to be a part of my past client’s continued journey with each other. Cheers to four years and many more to come, Chey and Adam!
