Funny story about this wedding. This wedding was in Orange County Huntington Beach, CA. I live in San Diego, about an hour or so away. I packed up my gear in the morning, got in the car and immediately felt nauseous. As soon as I was about to push the start button I felt sick. I went back into the house went into the bathroom.

Prepared to start throwing up my breakfast, I didn’t. I just dry heaved. And then I felt so much better. I got back into the car thinking ohh man I hope I’m not sick, or I hope I don’t feel this way again during the wedding day. I picked up my second photographer Cate at her house and we drove up to the venue. On the way, I told her about what happened earlier and she immediately said, “Dude you’re pregnant”. I thought maybe but had some serious doubts. But turns out, I was and this one of the first weddings I shot while carrying our little peanut.
