This Mt Woodson Castle wedding was the actual epitome of a warm, bright, California fall wedding day. Mt Woodson Castle is a gorgeous historical San Diego wedding venue that has all the craftsman-style charm. It really is a magical setting, and it was the perfect one for Sam and Garrett’s wedding day.
The day started off with slow and relaxed getting ready moments. The bride and groom enjoyed the warm weather and the happy vibes with their bridesmaids and groomsmen, and I could already tell right away that this would be such a fun day.
After getting ready, Sam and Garrett shared the sweetest first look in one of the venues outdoor courtyard areas. Then we headed to a more open space for wedding party photos. These turned out so much fun!! These two had a really great group of people surrounding them on their wedding day. It was a beautiful thing to witness!
After group photos, we headed to the beaauuuttiiiful outdoor wedding ceremony area. The pair said their “I do’s” in front of a backdrop of mountains blanketed in sunlight… it was stunning! After the ceremony and pre-wedding reception, Sam and Garrett and I snuck away for portraits. The golden hour light and this stunning wedding venue made these bride and groom portraits turn out so perfectly. The gorgeous bride and groom didn’t hurt either.
Finally, the outdoor wedding reception began, and just as I thought, this turned into one of the best nights ever.
