This mamma and I used to go to middle school together up in Alpine, CA. I can’t believe social media somehow brought us together and I was able to photograph her family. Rachel is a photographer herself so I definitely felt like the pressure was on to get some killer images.

Her 2 little boys had so much personality and spunk, I kind of let them run the show. We went up to Mt.Laguna at a different spot than I usually go to and it was STUNNING. We uphill climbed this hill, let the boys explore, and had lots of tickle fights in between. That’s the best thing you can do sometimes to get the most carefree and relaxed images, just let the kids be kids. Hopefully I can get this family in front of my lens again soon! They have welcomed a baby girl since this session and she is the cutest!
