I love this family so much. I haven’t known them for very long but we have grown very close. Mariah is the strongest mother I know. She lost her husband in a work accident in 2018. She is raising 3 boys on her own and continues to be a symbol of what being “Strong as a Mother” is. Her boys radiate joy and continue to crack me up with every interaction. They love their mama and look to her as their guide. These photos may look “picture perfect” but there were tears, and nature poking little toes, uphill climbs and other challenges.

The light was so intense, I couldn’t believe how beautiful it was. I loved how the images came out. Some are happy, some are somber. Some are a little blurry and that’s ok. That’s life.
