Jill and Patrick’s romantic Maderas Golf Course wedding was a day full of beautiful scenery, a gorgeous bride and groom, adorable surprises, and the most meaningful details. The Maderas Golf Course is the perfect Southern California wedding venue option. Deep in the hills of San Diego, California, it’s perfect for couples planning an outdoor wedding. 

I loved loved loved the colors of this wedding day. Because it was a fall wedding, the bride wanted to add lots of seasonal but still feminine color tones. As a result, their color palette of soft pinks, taupes, and grays was exactly that! Coupled with the the venue’s backdrop it was the perfect addition to the greenery and trees. After a super adorable first look (complete with a nice butt squeeze) between the bride and groom, Jill then did a first look with her father, which was just the cutest thing ever. 

After the first look, we moved into bridal party photos, and let me say this group was a blast! Jill really wanted fun bridal party photos and I hope I delivered!

The outdoor wedding ceremony took place in front of a gorgeous circular ceremony arch with the rolling hills in the background.

While Jill and Patrick said the sweetest vows, they followed it up with a unity ceremony. They locked a bottle of wine along with letters to each other in a box to open in the future. 

After the ceremony, we captured sunset bride and groom portraits. Obviously I highly recommend doing sunset photos! Afterwards, we strolled the golf course and enjoyed the fresh air and scenery. These photos came out gorgeous! 

Following sunset photos, the guests gathered into the indoor reception ballroom and took their seats. After the couples first dance, the couple showed a slideshow of photos from their relationship. Obviously everyone got a kick out of their baby photos! Later in the evening the guests continued to drinking and dance the night away.
