If you’re familiar with my work, you know that I love me some outdoor engagement photoshoots, so this Iron Mountain Trail engagement session was right up my alley. A gorgeous couple + a beautiful mountain location + golden hour light and a dreamy sunset = one happy San Diego engagement photographer. 

Skyleigh and Wyatt are the sweetest pair, and so so in love (they both have such great style, too! I loved their engagement session outfits.) They made capturing their engagement photos super fun and a piece of cake. We started off taking photos in the tree grove, then we moved on to the fields of dried grass for golden hour shots (which always turn out beautiful.) After a quick outfit change, the sun began to set, which is where even more magic happened!

One of my favorite touches from this session was the lanterns and twinkle lights we used during blue hour photos. We did this as a nod to their future wedding theme, “written in the stars.” Those dreamy moonlight engagement pictures are definitely some of my favorites from this session, so scroll down to check them out!
