Lindsey and James booked me for their San Diego Wedding and because they live in Washington and had engagement photos done up there, they opted to switch an engagement session with me for some bridal shower coverage. I arrived at Lindsey’s dad’s home in Alpine, CA and I was really worried that it was going to be cold and windy but the sun was out, a little too much out. Thankfully they had out tents up so we were all in the shade but I don’t think anyone was prepared for the sudden change in weather that we got. Lindsey and I had only Facetimed, so it was the first time we’d be meeting in person. We clicked right away and everyone in her family and friend circle was so sweet and welcoming. She obviously is a lover of breakfast food because there was a multitude of options on the food table from French Toast, to Granola and Yogurt. Ladies starting coming in and filling up their champagne flutes right away and after everyone ate the games began! Everyone had a great time, as did I watching Lindsey’s niece and flower girl play the toilet paper dress game. The afternoon ended with the bride opening her presents and her mom saved the best for last. It was a family heirloom ring for Lindsey to wear on the wedding day. Her something blue. She’s got it all now, her man, the dress, and her something old, new borrowed and blue. I cannot wait to photograph their wedding day here in San Diego!
