I love a good family lifestyle session! Would you believe me if I told you that I’ve been capturing this beautiful bunch’s family photos for YEARS? I’ve known the Plate family for over 10 years. We met at church, and I’ve had the absolute pleasure of watching this family grow and grow. See, this right here is my favorite thing about being a wedding and lifestyle photographer. The deep, real connections you make with the people you work with. 

For this family lifestyle session, we decided on an in-home photoshoot. I love in-home sessions because they allow the people you are photographing to be completely comfortable. This leads to more authentic and natural photos that capture the true essence of who they are. 

We wanted the photos to capture the family in their natural form, doing things they would be doing on any other normal day. So that meant mainly just hanging around the house and loving on each other. I wanted to capture each member of the family in a way that portrayed their unique personalities. Also, I wanted to capture the love between each of them. It was so beautiful to witness, and I love that I get to share it with you now.
