Where do I even begin with Brian and Cass’s wedding day? Oh man, it was one of the best wedding days I’ve ever photographed. First off, Cass is the sweetest! She is creative and detail oriented and has an insane talent for DIY projects, and a great eye for design, color and decor. Every little thing about this wedding had purpose and a clear thought behind it. She knew what she wanted and put so much work into getting everything together.
Cass made the candle favors! She went to thrift stores and estate sales to find all these adorable little cups and things and then created TWO different candle scents to fill them all! Her and Brian also made their wine for guests to drink. She also made the seating arrangement cards, thrifted all the brass candlesticks, the welcome sign…I mean the list goes on an on. SHE SLAYED in the DIY department! And of course all the vendors below get a huge shoutout for bringing Cass and Brian’s vision of their wedding day to life.
As if the decor and style of the wedding wasn’t enough, these two genuinely love each other and their families. One thing that Cass said during the reception to all her guests was, “When I pictured today, I imagined the black candle sticks, and the tables, the tiny details, the green and gold but what I didn’t picture was all of you in the room here with us”. She spent a lot of time and energy creating this beautiful space for everyone to enjoy and when she looked all around to see everyone who loved and supported them it was overwhelming. It was definitely a standout moment from their day that I’ll never forget.
