This Coronado Island beach engagement session was the dreamiest thing everrrrr. Courtney and Michael (basically a model couple, tbh) really went for it. They weren’t afraid to let loose, have fun, and embrace movement, which made for some really, really magical, cinematic engagement photos.

One of my favorite things to ask of couples during engagement sessions is to not be afraid of MOVEMENT. Instead of giving out specific posing prompts, I like to instead have the pair move/dance/jump/run around, while I just follow along and capture all the sweet moments! This not only allows and encourages the couple to become more comfortable and relaxed, but it also helps produce all the dreamy, cinematic vibes like the ones you see throughout this blog post.

Some of my favorite captures from this session came from the golden hour portion of the night, as the sun set and the golden light washed over the entire beach. This was such a magical day, and an even more magical couple. Thank you, Courtney and Michael, for letting me capture this special time in your lives!
