Believe it or not, I actually met Justine, the bride, in college at a biology lab class. We instantly became best friends after I quoted The Office upon meeting. Creed is my fave, what about you? After that, Justine and I became very close, and she was actually in my wedding as the unofficial maid of honor (she also gave a really touching speech.)

A few years later we explored London together, and then months after that, she met Justin at a Halloween party. Here’s where the groom comes in (you know I had to brag about Justine and I’s relationship first, haha!) At that party, Justin was too nervous to talk to her for most of the night, so Justine actually made the first move.

The two fell hard and fast. They actually eloped at Lake Arrowhead back in January 2021, without telling any of their extended family or friends. This was a sweet and intimate elopement… perfect for this couple. But, they did decide they wanted to have a large wedding so that all of their family and friends could gather to celebrate their marriage.

During the couple’s grand entrance at their 2022 bash, they played a video of their elopement, which shocked everyone because, for most of their guests, this was the first time they even heard of the elopement! They were introduced for the “second time” and had their official first dance. This beautiful day was held at the gorgeous San Clemente wedding venue, The Casino. There were so many fun wedding day details, including an awesome LED sign and disco ball decor!

At the start of the night, Justine and Justin made an announcement thanking everyone for coming to their anniversary party. I just love these two so much. Here’s to many more happy years!
