This warm and breezy end-of-summer wedding at the Highland Valley Ranch House was a gorgeous wedding day full of bright flowers, the happiest couple, yummy food, and bubbles! Highland Valley Ranch House in the San Pasqual Valley is a private estate that’s available for rental, and I thought it was just the perfect venue for Anastasia and Dakota’s intimate backyard wedding.
The venue’s backyard, which is absolutely stunning on its own by the way, was perfectly decorated for the couple’s outdoor wedding reception. White tables and simple monochromatic reception details allowed the real star of the reception design to shine. And by “real star”, I clearly mean the gorgeous wedding florals (done by Siren Floral Co.) Bright oranges, pinks, and blues, the wildflower-like texture… honestly these are some of the prettiest wedding florals I’ve ever seen!
Another star of the reception was the food! The couple decided to go the non-traditional route with a donut wall, cookies, and churros instead of a wedding cake. And trust me, no one was complaining.
This was a super enjoyable and relaxed wedding day, but of course, we had to sneak some bride and groom portraits in. The backyard venue had the perfect spot for wedding portraits: an orange tree grove. Scroll and check those out! The picturesque venue helped for sure, but the pair looked as stunning as ever on their own. Anastasia wore a simple a-line halter wedding dress with a bow detail on the back. Dakota wore a simple gray groom suit (but take a look at the closeup shot of his shirt!)
Thank you so much for allowing me to capture your beautiful wedding day, Anastasia and Dakota. It was an honor.
