This wedding at the Del Mar Beach Hotel was the perfect blend of coastal charm with a classic, elegant flair. Nestled right along the shoreline in Del Mar, CA, the hotel’s location gave the day an easy, breezy vibe, while still feeling intentional and elevated. With ocean views just steps away, the beach made a stunning backdrop for their celebration.

I loved how the decor struck a balance between timeless and playful! Their day was filled with lots of elegant touches like soft spring florals with roses and poppies that were paired with fun, elevated design choices. One of my favorite details from the day was the seashells that were incorporated into each table on their seating chart. It was such a creative way to tie in the coastal setting just outside.

Also, I HAVE to mention the retro 90s-style cake. It was nostalgic, fun, and just a little offbeat. It added such a perfect personal touch to their reception!

Speaking of nostalgia-filled wedding details—the couple also chose to add film to their wedding package, which made for such a timeless addition to their gallery. The soft natural light and vibrant pops of color from the florals looked incredible on film, and the subtle imperfections gave everything a beautifully vintage, documentary feel that fit the setting so well.
